The Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville was one of the first five in the country to adopt public service as a required component of legal education. All students are required to perform a minimum of 30 hours of law-related public service prior to graduation. Many students perform more, totaling more than 4,000 hours of law student assistance donated annually to local, state and national organizations.
