Remembering Andrew Young
The Law School is very saddened to report that Andrew Franklin
Young, a third-year student, died March 19, 2009. The entire Law School
community extends its deepest sympathies to Mr. Young's family.
Andrew was a member of the University of Louisville Law Review during the 2007-2008 academic year and a Notes Editor for 2008-2009. He also received the Carl Mann Scholarship during all three years of law school. Andrew received his B.A. in history from Kentucky Wesleyan College and was an active online political commentator throughout college and law school.
Visitation for Mr. Young will take place Sunday, March 22, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. (CDT) at Morgan's Funeral Home, 301 West Washington Street, Princeton, KY 42445, 270-365-5595. The funeral will take place Monday, March 23, at 1 p.m (CDT) at Morgan's Funeral Home.
The Law School will observe a minute of silence at noon on Monday in memory of Mr. Young. We also invite members of the Law School community to post their memories of Mr. Young below.
