The transition from Christmas and New Year's Day to spring semester has taken a harsh toll on the regularity of posts here at The Cardinal Lawyer. I shall embrace, if a little belatedly, a new year's resolution to do better. As a first step toward transforming that resolution into reality, I offer a brief comment about our Class Notes page.
Class Notes, a favorite feature in our alumni magazine, is now available as a feature on the Law School's portal page for alums and visitors. Class Notes will continue to appear in the magazine. But you don't need to wait for the next issue to catch up on the latest news about your classmates. The online version of Class Notes will keep you up to date any time you visit the Law School's website.
While we're on the subject of alumni news, I recently received this very nice piece of e-mail from Cece Hagan of the class of 1986:
It is nice to see that some Louisville Law graduates have been selected for key appointments in Governor Beshear's administration, e.g., Deputy Chief of Staff Vince Gabbert and J. Michael Brown, Secretary of Justice and Public Safety. Also, in the Lt. Governor's office, Jeff Derouen is the Chief of Staff and Director of Communications.
Of course, Cece herself is doing well these days. She is serving as president of the University of Louisville Alumni Association's Board of Directors.
