FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Club Programming Committee (CPC) applications are now being accepted for fall 2008 events. Over $35,000 in funds will be allocated to organizations for fall 2008 programs. CPC is a joint initiative coordinated by SGA and the Dean of Students Office. The CPC is composed primarily of students, so students will decide what sort of funding directives best support student life. SGA

Please join us at UofL's Brandeis School of Law for an open forum with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, moderated by Samuel A. Marcosson, professor of law. The evening forum at the Kentucky Center has sold out; however, this on-campus forum is free of charge and open to all students, faculty and staff. Professional dress is encouraged.
Stephen G. Breyer, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, took his seat in 1994. His book Active Liberty is based on the Tanner Lectures on Human Values that Justice Breyer delivered at Harvard University in 2004. In Active Liberty, Breyer argues that the Constitution's lasting brilliance is that its principles may adapt to coe with current situations. | ||
