Learn how you can be involved in the Central High School Law and Government Magnet Program through Street Law (for public service credit) or Marshall-Brennan Civil Liberties (for academic credit) and other activities in teaching at Central High School Law and Government Magnet.Current law students involved in the program and students from Central will share their experiences in these programs which began in 2007-2008. The University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law would like to extend the invitation to students who are interested in pursuing a law degree to attend our “Lunch and Learn” event entitled “Discover Law: Facts, Snacks and Getting on Track”. The event will focus on the ins and outs of the law school admissions process as well as allow attendees the opportunity to speak with current law students. During the event, students will have the opportunity to register with DiscoverLaw.org. Lunch will be provided for all students in attendance. On Thursday, March 8th, the SBA is sponsoring a MedMal Mixer for some of the professional schools at UofL. Students form the Law School, Medical School, Dental School, Nursing School, and School of Public Health are invited to attend this mixer. The University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law would like to extend the invitation to students who are interested in pursuing a law degree to attend our pre-law day entitled “Discover Law: Bridging the Gap between College and Law”. The Event will target the following students: high school students, students enrolled at community colleges as well as students enrolled at four year intuitions of higher education. The pre-law day is designed to be a one-day event, in which students will have the opportunity to partake in educational sessions such as, “How to prepare for Law School”, “Navigating the Admissions Process, and “How to conquer the LSAT” as well as a current student panel featuring students from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law. Lunch will provided for the all those in attendance at the event. During lunch, students will have the opportunity to register with DiscoverLaw.org. We look forward to welcoming students to discover law with UofL Law. | ||
