Rules of Conduct

Loud and disruptive behavior: The primary purpose of the Law Library is to provide a quiet place for the study and use of legal material. Patrons may not converse loudly or engage in behavior that is disruptive to others. Patrons may not use cellular telephones in the library.


Food or drink: Food and drink, with the exception of bottled water, are strictly prohibited in all areas of the Law Library.  All food and drink is prohibited in the computer labs.  Patrons must remove food and drink items from the library immediately if detected by library staff.


Furniture: Carrels, tables and chairs should not be relocated from their positions in the library.


Enforcement: The Law Library staff is charged with enforcing these rules. Repeated infractions or disregard of a request from the staff to comply with a rule will result in removal of the patron from the Law Library by campus security.


Cell Phones:   The use of cell phones in the library is prohibited.
