This reel includes background material and notes from a course on business law that Brandeis taught at Massachusetts Institute of Technology; correspondence about the Homestead Steel Strike of 1893; opposition to the West End lease of the Boston Elevated; draft legislation concerning the construction of the Washington Street Subway; and correspondence with educational and civic leaders such as James Barr Ames, Charles W.
