These letters kept Brandeis abreast of the progress of the New York State Savings Bank Life Insurance legislation, modeled after the Massachusetts plan, and correspondents include Jack and Susan Brandeis Gilbert, Josephine Goldmark, Sidney E. Wolff, Charles Goldmark, Meyer Bloomfield, Julian W. Mack, Bernard Flexner and New York Governor Herbert H. Lehman.
