Reel 68 Zionism-Palestine 1905, 1913-1915
Series VI, Zionism-Palestine, begins on this reel, with memoranda
submitted by Jacob deHaas, outlining a plan for the industrial
development of Palestine. Also found here is early correspondence
(February 10, 1905) inviting Brandeis to participate in a
discussion of the Zionist situation in Boston, which he declined;
as well as routine correspondence for 1913, 1914, and 1915 from
the Zion Association of Greater Boston, to whose board of
directors Brandeis was elected in April, 1913. Minutes of the
meetings of the executive committee of the Federation of American
Zionists, as well as correspondence with its chairman, Louis
Lipsky, end this reel. Other correspondents include Bernard A.
Rosenblatt, Max Shulman, Stephen S. Wise, and Julian W. Mack.
