"With the help of the Dean of Professional Development, Kathy Urbach, I was able to obtain a remarkable internship with Judge Danny J. Boggs on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Working hand-in-hand with Judge Boggs and his clerks was incredibly insightful and the experience inspired me to apply for federal clerkships following graduation. The internship, coupled with my overall education obtained at UofL Law, make me confident that I will succeed as both a clerk and an attorney following graduation.
Since graduating, I am completing two federal judicial clerkships. The first, one-year clerkship is with Judge John G. Heyburn of the Western District of Kentucky, and the second one-year clerkship will be with Judge Eugene E. Siler of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Following these clerkships, I will join the law firm of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs as a litigation associate."
