Valid Exam4 Practice Tests

This morning (Monday, Nov. 22), the following e-mail went out to all students who submitted a valid Exam4 practice test for Fall 2010 finals:

You have received this message because you submitted a valid and timely Exam4 practice test for Fall 2010 final exams.  Should you require assistance with Exam4, you are entitled to receive it.  Please remember to bring a USB flash drive with you to EVERY exam.  If you do not, and you cannot submit your exam electronically, the IT staff will not provide a flash drive for you. 

If you submitted an Exam4 practice test and did not receive this e-mail, and believe your practice test was valid, please see Asst. Dean Jim Becker in room 115 as soon as possible.

Today Is the Exam4 Practice Test Deadline!

The deadline for submitting a mandatory practice test, if you wish to use your computer for exams this semester, is TODAY (Friday, November 19, 2010) at 11:59 PM. You must identify yourself with your UofL User Name (e.g., EAPRES01) on the practice test for it to be valid.

Students who used Exam4 for the Professional Responsibility exam Friday, November 5, are all set and do NOT have to submit a second practice test. First-year students must download, install and submit a practice test using the new version of Exam4 now available. The version 1Ls used for the Legal Research final and/or the Torts I mid-term has expired and will not run anymore.

If you've submitted a practice test, you can check to see if it was received by looking at ExamTracker (see link below), which is also displayed this week on the hall monitors.

CardMail Coming (for Students) in January 2001

Beginning in January 2011, UofL Law students may begin migrating their University mail account away from GroupWise -- : ) -- to "CardMail," a new student email system provided by Microsoft Outlook Live.

CardMail will offer:

  • 10GB of mail storage,
  • Instant messaging,
  • A movie maker,
  • A photo gallery, and
  • The 25GB Windows Sky Drive, a cloud-based file storage service, with anytime-anyplace access to documents.

First Exam4 Practice Test Deadline Is Today

The Exam4 practice test deadline for 1Ls taking the Legal Research exam Friday, October 8, and/or Professor Hall's Torts I mid-term Friday, October 15 is TODAY, Wednesday, October 6.  If you have not yet submitted a practice test, you must do so, identifying yourself with your UofL user name, by midnight tonight in order to receive tech support, if needed, during either or both of these exams.

As of this writing (10:20 AM, Tuesday, October 5), we have received two unidentifiable practice tests: "1631" and "1698361."  If these persons (or this person) have/has not also submitted a practice test identifying him/herself properly, he/she must do so by tonight's deadline.
