General criteria: Each entrant must be a current law student and member in good standing of the Sports Lawyers Association.  Each entry is limited to 1,500 words maximum on a current issue in Sports Law.

Deadline: April 1, 2013

Amount of Award: $5,000 for winning selection; $3,000 for second place; $2000 for third place
