Mark Your Calendar for April 8 and 9 – We Need Your Help Writing Thank You Notes

Monday, April 8 is the first day of the Law School’s Appreciation Week, an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff, and to thank those who have supported the law school.

On Monday, all students are invited to the Cox Faculty Lounge between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to write a personal thank you note to a law school donor.  A second thank you note-writing session will be on Tuesday, April 9, from 1:00 to 3:00.  If you are a scholarship recipient, moot court competitor, or student leader, you are required to be at one of the sessions or make other arrangements with Dean Ballard.

The Law School will provide everything you need (note cards, envelopes, pens, sample thank you notes), and will take care of postage and mailing.  We’ll even provide the contact information and donor information for your particular scholarship so you can thank your donor personally.  Supporters of the law school will enjoy hearing from you and learning that their donations are being put to excellent use.

We hope this will be an annual tradition at the Law School.  Help us make this inaugural event a success by expressing your written appreciation to the supporters of our law school who have contributed to your education.
