Student Assistant Needed for Student Life Office
Dean Ballard is seeking a current 2L or 3L to work in the Student Life Office during the 2013-14 academic year. The student will work on a variety of projects in the Student Life Office, but will primarily assist with managing law school student organizations, updating and posting external scholarships, writing competitions, and study abroad opportunities, and serving as the contact for international visiting students. The student will work around seven hours per week, sometimes more and sometimes less. If you are interested in applying, please send Dean Ballard (1) a statement (no longer than two pages) about why you are interested in a position and why you believe you would be a good candidate, (2) a list of the activities you plan or hope to do next year, and (3) a copy of your resume. Dean Ballard will accept applications on a rolling basis, but hopes to hire a student to begin working before the fall semester begins.
