It's Fulbright & Big BRIT Scholarship Time at UofL!

The Office of National and International Scholarship Opportunities wants our students to know they are preparing for another great year of scholarship and fellowship advising.

Each Fall they host a series of workshops, culminating in a week of campus interviews that prepare applicants to submit highly competitive applications for Academic Grants and English Teaching Assistantships (ETAs) to countries around the world. Although they are looking for graduating seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates and alumni (up to 5 years out) to apply for the Fulbright for 2014-2015, first and second year students are also invited to attend the workshops.

The first workshop will be held on Friday, August 30. There will be two sessions from which to choose. One session will be from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and the other will be from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place in Room 139 of the Shumaker Research Building.

There is a series of upcoming deadlines for students interested in applying. These deadlines are listed on the attached scholarship announcement. Also attached is a Fulbright booklet which explains what a Fulbright scholarship is and eligibility requirements.
