Learn How to Apply for a Fulbright Fellowship to Study Overseas - August 30th
The UofL Office of National and International Scholarship Opportunities will be conducting workshops on August 30th about the Fulbright Grant Application Process. Fulbright Fellowships are highly regarded and allow students to study overseas for 6-9 months. The Fulbright Program funds over 8,000 grants per year in over 140 countries. Law students are eligible for these grants. The application process is rigorous.
There are two opportunities to attend the workshop for students on August 30th. One session will be from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and the other will be from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place in Room 139 of the Shumaker Research Building, located near the law school. (Ms. Scinta, located in room 180 in the law school, can provide directions to the Shumaker Building).
There is a series of upcoming deadlines for students interested in applying. These deadlines are listed on the attached scholarship announcement. The Fulbright deadline is October 15. 1Ls, 2Ls and 3Ls invited to attend the workshop.
