Did You Miss the CLS, Boren, and Fulbright Info Session Yesterday?
For students who were unable to attend the October 23 Information Session co-sponsored by Student Life and the International Law Society on Critical Language Scholarships, Boren Fellowships, and the Fulbright Program, you can find helpful information about these three competitive national and international scholarship opportunities on the Law School's study abroad page. Scroll down to the bottom where you will find a link to the handout that was distributed summarizing the three opportunities available to law students. The application deadline for a Critical Language Scholarship is November 15. The application deadline for a Boren Fellowship is January 28, 2014.
For students who are serious about preparing an application, you should contact Emily Maiden in the Office of National and International Scholarship Opportunities. If you have general questions, please feel free to speak to Kimberly Ballard, Assistant Dean for Student Life, Office 216.
The next information session focused on international study will be on January 13. We will focus on opportunities to study at one of the Law School's exchange partner institutions (summer, semester, or year-long), or through other ABA-approved study abroad programs offered by various law schools.
