Samer Yahyawi, 2002 UofL Law School Graduate, to Speak to Students on E-Discovery

On Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Room 175, University of Louisville Law School graduate, Samer Yahyawi, '02, will be at the law school to discuss the current state of electronic discovery and document review. A former associate at several law firms in Louisville, Samer, currently works in New York and exclusively in the area of E-Discovery as a contract attorney and consultant for numerous "white shoe" law firms in the New York City area. Samer will plan to discuss coding and software platforms, ways to garner exposure to document review, finding employment in E-Discovery, strategies for interviewing for document review positions, what challenges lie ahead for document review attorneys as technology evolves, and potential E-Discovery learning (both in-class and on-line) tools for students.

This will also be a great networking opportunity. Lunch will be provided.
