TODAY! How To Be A Good Summer Law Clerk

TODAY, from 12:00 [noon] to 1:00 p.m., in Room 175, the Office of Professional Development will be hosting an information session focused on preparing students who will be working for a law firm, government agency, non-profit organization, or judge this summer. A panel consisting of attorneys and law students will share their advice on how to impress your boss this summer, what to expect in terms of assignments, how to manage your assignments, and how to prepare for serving as a law clerk. The panelists are:

Greg Mayes, Jr. - Attorney, Phillips Parker Orberson & Arnett PLC
Philip Heleringer (2L) - Law Clerk last summer with Stoll Keenan Ogden
Lindsay Howard (2L) - Judicial Intern[ship] last summer with the Honorable John G. Heyburn, Federal District Court

First year students are encouraged to attend. This is information you need to know to be successful this summer! Lunch will be provided from Sol Aztecas.
