Public Service Program Still Taking Applications for $3000 Greenebaum Summer Fellowships

The Samuel L. Greenebaum Public Service Program is still accepting applications for a new public service fellowship created for 1L and 2L students this summer through funding from the Samuel L. Greenebaum Public Service Program. The Samuel L. Greenebaum Summer Fellowship will provide three summer grants in the amount of $3000 to Brandeis students working in unpaid public service jobs this summer.

Students must find their own placements for the summer and cannot apply for the fellowship until they secure a placement. Students interested in the fellowship cannot receive a salary for their work or externship credit.

The application for the fellowship is available on Symplicity in the Documents Library located under the Resources Tab. The three fellowship awards will be granted on a rolling basis.

Students need only apply once and their application will considered for each of the three fellowship awards. Positions with nonprofits, government agencies and judges will be eligible for the Greenebaum Fellowship. These fellowships are geared to allow students to pursue opportunities throughout the country and preference will be given to placements outside of Louisville.

Applications will be accepted until Monday, May 12. Contact Jina Scinta in the Office of Professional Development ( after you have reviewed the application if you have questions.
