Posted May 13th, 2014 by Laurel A. Hajek
Unpaid legal internships, either part time or full time, are available for law students looking for summer jobs. Positions are immediately available with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services in both the Office of Legal Services (Frankfort/Louisville) and working for judges in the Division of Administrative Hearings (Frankfort), Metro Government (Louisville), and the Department of Education (Frankfort). Students who have completed their first full year of law school are eligible to apply. Practice areas/topics include: health law, family law, child support, protection & permanency, trademark/IP, reentry programs and civil rights issues, expungements, education law, and safe & healthy neighborhoods. Time working for these agencies this summer will count towards students' public service hours requirement to graduate. For more information and to discuss which agencies students should apply based on their interests, contact Dean Hajek at email@example.com.
