On April 10, the League of Women Voters will host its 2008 Judicial Forum. The topic of this forum is "Safeguarding U.S. Democracy: Promoting an Independent Judiciary by Defending the U.S. Constitution."

 

This event is funded by League of Women Voters of the United States Education Fund and the Program on Constitutional And Legal Policy of the Open Society Institute.

MISSION: The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the League is open to men and women of all ages.
