Janice Lachance, CEO of the Special Libraries Association, and former Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in the Clinton Administration, will speak on the topic "Navigators Needed:  Information Now and Tomorrow" dealing with the future of the information profession in the Chao Auditorium at Ekstrom Library on Wednesday October 15.  Social time will begin at 1:00 PM just outside the auditorium with CEO Lachance's presentation following at 1:30.  This is a free event, and all are cordially invited to attend!
