Course Load and Completion of Studies

Subject to the qualifications below, each full-time student must enroll in and pass at least ten semester hours per semester. Similarly, each part-time student must enroll in and pass at least eight semester hours each semester. A student must complete his or her course of study no sooner than 24 months and not longer than 84 months after a student has commenced law study at the School of Law or a law school from which the School has accepted transfer credit. Ordinarly, a full-time law student will complete his or her degree in three academic years. The School of Law does not encourage the acceleration of completion of requirements for graduation.
