The Brandeis Honor Society presents the Brandeis Medal Lecture

The University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law invites you to honor the latest recipient of the Brandeis Medal.  Melvin I. Urofsky, professor of law and public policy at Virginia Commonwealth University, will deliver the Brandeis Lecture in room 275 on Thursday, April 1, from 1 to 2 p.m.  New members of the Brandeis Society will also be recognized.  A reception will take place in the Cox Lounge immediately after the lecture.

Professor Urofsky's research on the life and jurisprudence of Justice Brandeis has drawn extensively from the archives of the University of Louisville Law Library.  The New York Times has named Professor Urofsky's biography, Louis D. Brandeis: A Life, one of the "most notable books" of 2009.
