The Student Bar Foundation held its first meeting on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Attendance by all officers, except Rachel Popham.  There was a lot of interest from first years.  Mary Jo Gleason and Jerry Torbech were also in attendance.

1. Welcome and introduction of officers.
2. Review of our mission statement and statement of purpose.
3. Grant process (types of grants provided, application process, examples of the grants we have funded in the past)
4. Fundraising methods (charity auction, door prizes, other fundraising ideas)
5. Potential public service project for SBF as a group
6. Guest Speaker grant recipient Becca O'Neil.
7. Question and answer period.
8. Will follow up with email to sign up sheet.
9. Exec Board to meet to schedule next meetings and plan first event.
