Summer Union Intern Program co-sponsored by the Kentucky Labor Institute and participating unions
The purpose of this program is to promote among union members, and especially younger members, a positive understanding of the essential role unions play in today's society. It will also offer interns the opportunity to have a first-hand experience of the actual functioning of a modern union. The internship will also serve to both educate and train future youthful union leadership. (The internship is open to all college students, not only law students.)
A stipend of $2,000 will be paid to students for their work over the summer.
