Louisville recently performed well at the The Energy and Sustainability National Moot Court Competition. Louisville was represented by Lize Goykhberg, Jacob Giesecke, and Tyler Fleck who returned from Morgantown, WV as semi-finalists. After the 4 preliminary rounds, Louisville was the last team selected to advance to the Quarterfinals. Putting together a strong performance, Louisville advanced to the semi-finals to argue against the number 1 seed. This was Louisville's first year to compete in the competition. The University of Kentucky was last year's winner of the competition, but finished 5th this year, being edged out by Louisville.
