·         Oath-Signing Ceremony.  On Thursday, August 16, at 5:00 p.m. in Bigelow Hall (on the University campus), the entering first year class will sign the Brandeis School of Law Oath, promising to uphold the School of Law's Honor Code and UofL's Student Conduct Code.  Chief Justice John D. Minton, Jr. and Justice Lisabeth Hughes Abramson of the Kentucky Supreme Court will speak and assist in administering the oath.  The signed oath will be framed and will hang in the hallway on the second floor of the law school.  This occasion is to mark our law students’ entry into the legal profession.  A reception will follow at the Law School from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Friends and Family are invited to attend.
