Central Magnet program and UofL Signature Partnership Celebrate Milestones

The partnership with the Central High School Law and Government Magnet program celebrated its tenth anniversary this year during Black History Month as a part of the LBA Annual Trailblazer Event.  The LBA also celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the Summer Law Internship program at the event. The Partnership continues to grow and succeed.  Each year approximately 30 law students and 20 faculty and staff members join with members of the legal community to provide a comprehensive array of academic programming, skills development, and special programs with the goal of building the pipeline to the legal profession and government involvement.

The program, an initiative with West Louisville, is one of the University of Louisville’s Signature Partnership programs.  The Signature Partnership Initiative also celebrated its five-year anniversary earlier this month.
