National Law Students Workers' Rights Conference - October 12 & 13
If you are interested in employment law and would like to attend the National Law Students Workers' Rights Conference on October 12 & 13 in Maryland, please view the attachments.
The conference is sponsored by the Peggy Browning Fund which will pay expenses for one student nominated by the law school to attend.
If you are interested in attending and want to be considered as the nominee from the law school for the Peggy Browning Fund to pay for your airfare, please provide a brief statement describing why you are interested in attending, including the following information: 1) What demonstrated commitment you have to advancing workers’ rights, if any. 2) Are you willing to leave KY or in what state do you hope to practice? Submit to Debra Reh at: firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, August 17th.
The registration deadline for students who are interested in attending and have other funding available is Friday, September 28th.
