Sign-Up for the Pirtle Washer Oral Advocacy Competition

If you are a 2L or 3L interested in oral advocacy, the Moot Court Board encourages you to sign up for the Pirtle-Washer Oral Advocacy competition. The competition will be held at the Hall of Justice on October 13 and the final rounds will be held in the Allen Courtroom on October 20. This competition is in it's 41st year at the Brandeis School of Law and past champions include Justice Lisabeth Hughes Abramson and Judge Ann Bailey Smith. Winners are rewarded with a $1000 prize, second place will receive $500, and third and fourth places will receive $250 each. A sign-up sheet will be posted on the Moot Court Board office door from Sept. 4-Sept. 13 at noon. An interest session will be held on Sept. 11 at 12:30 in room 177 or you can email VP of Internal Competitions Courtney Pawley at crpawl01@louisville.edu with any questions.
