Need money? Consider Submitting Your Work for a Student Writing Competition Award

Don't forget to check the Student Life website regularly for information about writing competitions open to law students.  There are typically cash prizes awarded that may range from $500 to $5,000. 

Currently, information is posted for writing competitions with topics ranging from land use law, immigration law, campaign finance reform, healthcare law, securities law, and alcohol regulation, to electronic discovery, legal medicine, international humanitarian law, and social media legislation.  Deadlines range from October 15, 2012 to June 7, 2013.  Writing competition information is also posted on the bulletin board outside classroom 275.
