Student Life Information Session - Externship Opportunities
All upper-division students are invited to an information session Tuesday, October 9, at noon, to learn about externship opportunities this spring. Each academic year, several opportunities exist for skills-based externship experiences. By participating in an externship, you can satisfy the professional skills graduation requirement, earn academic credit, and gain invaluable work experience that will set you apart from your fellow classmates.
If you are thinking about participating in an externship, please join us on Tuesday to hear from faculty supervisors, Professors Blackburn and Jordan, and students. The information session will be at noon in Room 175. This is your opportunity to get answers to your questions before the November registration period.
Information will be provided relating to the following externships: Tax, Judicial, Legal Aid, and the Jefferson County offices of the Commonwealth Attorney, the Public Defender, and the County Attorney.
Pizza will be provided to attendees. (*Note: Information regarding the Immigration Externship, the Law Clinic, and the Entrepreneurship Clinic will be provided at the October 23 Information Session.)
