The Office of Professional Development provides students with the opportunity to gain legal experience through the Samuel L. Greenebaum Public Service Program. This is the first step in your legal career and a building block for legal experience. Not only will you meet a requirement in order to graduate, but you will be able to apply knowledge and skills in a legal setting under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
Public Service is an opportunity to give back to the community and a characteristic that we strongly encourage continuing throughout your legal career. Performing public service hours not only develops skills working with real clients and real legal issues, but also creates thoughtful, civic-minded lawyers who play an active role in their community.
