New course Spring 2013 - Environmental Practice
Due to student demand, and the generosity of Tom Fitzgerald, we are able to add to the Spring 2013 schedule a skills course in Environmental Practice. This two hour course is currently available for enrollment on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:20pm. A course description is below. If you have questions about this offering, please contact Associate Dean Tim Hall.
The Environmental Practice course is an interactive skills course teaching students practical lawyering skills such as administrative practice (e.g., comments on regulations; participation in administrative hearings; etc.), litigation-oriented writing, oral advocacy, client letters, client interviewing and counseling, fact gathering and problem assessment and solving. Students will learn how to exercise the selected lawyering skills, then actually perform the skills, and then receive feedback and peer as well as professor evaluation.
