Camilo joined Brandeis School of Law as an Admissions Counselor in January 2014. He received his B.A. in Liberal Studies from University of California, Riverside and his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law.   

While in law school, he worked closely with the Dean of Admissions as a student recruiter, served as a law clerk for such organizations as the Southern Poverty Law Center, was a student attorney who represented juveniles charged with misdemeanor offenses, and, as a 2L, authored a law review article published in the Rutgers Race & the Law Review.

Prior to his academic career, Camilo worked for seven years in brand strategy, market research, and product management within the consumer goods market, including his work as a brand manager at LeapFrog Toys where he oversaw 20 award-winning products and developed 4 of the top 10 bestselling infant products in the toy industry in 2004.
