I direct the Law Resource Center (LRC), providing administrative support to the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law faculty, deans, staff and students. I joined UofL Law in 2007 and, in addition to directing the LRC, have also planned, managed and been extensively involved in numerous events, including Lawlapalooza, the Louisville legal community’s annual Battle of the Bands benefitting the Judge Ellen B. Ewing Foundation, and moot court and mock trial competitions. I have also represented UofL Law in coordinating and hosting visits by distinguished guests and speakers, such as Ken Starr, current president of Baylor University.
As LRC Director, I supervise one full-time employee and a student assistant and manage daily operations. We strive to provide exceptional customer service, produce accurate materials and effectively meet desired timelines. The LRC maintains an inventory of school and instructional supplies, orders textbooks, works with external vendors and manages equipment, and oversees the mailroom, and student folders, as well as other areas within the law school.
As a graduate of Indiana University’s School of Education, I feel at home in the academic environment. I am also an active mother of two and volunteer my time at many of my children’s school events, and my passions include decorating, scrapbooking and running. I enjoy being part of the UofL Law team, especially the friendships I have made with my faculty and staff colleagues.
