UofL Law Hosting ABA Negotiation Regional Competition This Weekend

Please be advised that the law school is hosting the ABA Negotiation Regional Competition this weekend, November 9-10.

Twenty four teams from schools around the country will be competing in front of local attorneys for the chance to win a bid to the national competition in January. The competition will run from 8:00am - 8:00pm Saturday, November 9, and the finals will be from 8:00am-2:00pm Sunday, November 10. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend the finals, particularly if students are interested in Negotiation or trying out for the Negotiation Moot Court team next year (which is open to 2Ls and 3Ls). However, UofL's two Negotiation Teams will not be competing at this regionals.

Other than the library, the law school will not be available for studying or room reservations during the competition - as competitors, coaches, judges, and Moot Court Board members will be using the majority of the building. The Moot Court Board appreciates you planning accordingly as you study this weekend. If you have any questions, please contact the MCB VP of External Competitions, Kaitlyn Jones at Kaitlyn.Jones@Louisville.edu.
