Dogs (And Their People) Go Wild For Puppy Palooza!

Puppy Palooza 2009, presented by the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, was a success on Sunday, April 5th. Dogs and the people they brought along with them were able to enjoy games, food, door prizes, information and fun! We were able to raise both awareness and money for the Animal Care Society, Alley Cat Advocates and SALDF. We would like to thank everyone who attended and donated! We would also like to thank the SALDF members who made the event a success! We can't wait to see you at Puppy Palooza 2010!

The Student Animal Legal Defense Fund would like to thank all those who participated in Community Service Day at the Animal Care Society. All those in attendance worked hard, had fun, and made a difference for the animals at the shelter. We appreciate all your help!!

Journal of Animal & Environmental Law Applications Available

Applications for the Journal of Animal & Environmental Law are available in the basement by the student mailboxes or on TWEN under the course "Journal of Animal and Environmental Law."  The JAEL's main criteria for membership are excellent writing skills, strong interest, and good academic standing.  Therefore, candidates for membership will be evaluated on the quality of a submitted writing sample and a statement of interest. Positions are available for students who will be 2L's, 3L's, and 4L's during the 2009-2010 academic year.  We encourage both day and evening students to apply.
