Deans' Townhall Meeting

The deans of the law school will be having a townhall meeting on September 4th, 2012. The meeting will be in Room 275 from 1:00-2:00. This is your time to have any questions you have answered. All students are invited and encouraged to attend. Those students interested in asking the deans of the law school any questions should draft and send your questions to be addressed by 5:00 p.m. on August 31st. This will allow enough time for the deans to get answers to your questions.

Law Schools of Kentucky - 1st Annual Reds Game

Your SBA is happy to announce a cooperative effort with the SBAs at NKU and UK for the first annual Reds Game! The cost is $20, which covers a ticket to the game and tailgate food and beverages.

The game against the L.A. Dodgers will take place on Saturday, September 22. The tailgate begins at 4:30 PM and the game begins at 7:10 PM. Students are responsible for transportation to and from Cincinnati for the game. 

In order to get take advantage of this amazing deal, we will need to provide a fairly accurate head count. In order to facilitate this process, your SBA requests that you click below to fill out a simple RSVP form with your name and email address so we can contact you with additional details.

Closer to September 22, SBA may attempt to organize carpooling for interested parties. You may bring a guest.

SBA Fall Store Hours

Your Student Bar Association is pleased to announce the fall hours of the SBA Store. The store will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, beginning on August 28 until finals season. Inquiries should be directed to Erica Wood.

SBA Decedent's Ball Ticket Raffle EXTENDED!

This week, Erica Wood will continue selling raffle tickets for Decedent's Ball Tickets. Erica will be set up in the Mosiac Lobby from 1:00 PM - 2:00PM on Tuesday and Thursday of this week (August 21 and 23). If you have questions, please feel free to contact Erica Wood via email.

Join us on August 21, 2012 for a reception to honor Louisville attorney, Mark Davis. Mr. Davis, author of the seminal biography of UofL Law alumnus, Solicitor General of the United States, William Marshall Bullitt, will speak to alumni, faculty, staff and students about the life and work of Solicitor General Bullitt. The author forum and book signing will take place in the Cox Lounge of Wyatt Hall from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

Brandeis Running Society

Are you a runner? Are you interested in incorporating fitness into your life? The Brandeis School of Law is starting a  running club this Fall and it's the perfect way to start healthy traditions. The club is intended to be a non-intimidating way for law school students to engage in healthy behavior. Running is a great way to increase cardiovascular health and can relieve law school-related stress. From beginners to advanced runners, we hope to accommodate all levels.
