Student Bar Foundation Interest Meeting

The Student Bar Foundation will be holding an interest meeting on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 12:10pm - 1:00 pm in room 177.  Lunch will be provided.

SBF is a student-led organization that raises money for fellowships for students who pursue unpaid summer internships in law-related public interest work.  These fellowships allow recipients to deliver legal services to the poor and indigent, provide law-related public education, and improve the judiciary, the legal profession, and citizens' access to the justice system.  In addition to fundraising, we are planning community service projects and guests speakers to discuss careers in public interest.  We also have an open board position available for a Chair of Student Involvement.  Please contact Emily DeVuono ateadevuono@gmail.com with any questions.

SBF is the only student-led and student-run organization that provides fellowships for law students who pursue low-paying or unpaid law-related public interest work. In addition, SBF is looking to expand its mission this coming year by providing opportunities for students to participate in both legal and non-legal community outreach projects as well as providing opportunities for students to learn more about careers in public service.
