The Student Bar Foundation runs an auction each year from which all proceeds benefit law students working in low-paying or non-paying summer positions. Information will be available in September for those who would like to serve as at-large members of SBF.

Fellowships are intended for any law students who secure unpaid, public interest work for at least 10 weeks over the summer.
Past fellowships have been awarded to students who worked for judges, county courthouses, refugee centers, the National Center for Prosecution of Child Abuse,Legal Aid, the Public Defender's Office, US Attorney's Office, the Haiti Project and many others! Fellowships can also be used not only in Louisville, but anywhere, and past recipients have traveled to Massachusettes, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Rhode Island, and Haiti. The type of work you do is up to you!
Application packets must be turned in to Emily Peeler's student mailbox by April 8, 2013 at 5pm, addressed to the Student Bar Foundation. If you have any questions, please contact SBF co-chairs Emily Peeler at empeeler@gmail.com or Ahmed Safeeullah at aasafe01@louisville.edu.
