SBF Fellowship Applications Due Today

SBF Fellowship applications are due by 1:00 p.m. today.  SBF provides fellowships for students pursuing unpaid internships doing law-related public interest work.  Past recipients have worked for organizations such as Legal Aid, DPA, Kentucky Refugee Ministries, and other organizations providing legal education, increasing citizens' access to the judicial system, and providing legal services to the poor and indigent.  If you have any questions about the fellowship please contact Emily DeVuono at eadevuono@gmail.com.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Facebook bidding for the SBF Charity Auction!  Bidding will resume Tuesday, March 10 from 12:30 to 5:00 (tentatively scheduled in the Washer Lounge).  We will also have Brandeis School of Law travel mugs for sale, $12 each or 2 for $20.  All proceeds go towards student fellowships.

SBF Charity Auction CANCELED

Due to the weather and road conditions the Student Bar Foundation Charity Auction this evening is canceled.  Bidding is open on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/552984571471688/ until 8:00 p.m. tonight.  You may also contact Emily DeVuono at eadevuono@gmail.com if you wish to bid today.  We will reschedule a date for a live event in the Law School for additional bidding.

Student Bar Foundation Charity Auction

Join the Student Bar Foundation for an evening of fundraising and networking at the 18th Annual Charity Auction, this Thursday, March 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Molly Malone's St. Matthews.  All proceeds from the auction will go towards student fellowships in law-related public interest work.

Due to the weather, SBF will also be hosting online bidding through the Auction event page on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/552984571471688.  Pictures of auction items will be posted and individuals may bid in $5 increments by commenting on the pictures.  Bidding will open at 9:00 a.m. and will continue through until 8:00 p.m.  Facebook bids will be updated periodically throughout the Molly Malone's event.  Individuals may also bid by contacting Emily DeVuono at eadevuono@gmail.com.  A list of the auction items is attached.
