Student Bar Foundation Charity Auction

Be sure to mark your calendars for the Student Bar Foundation Charity Auction on Thursday, March 20. The event is at the O'Shea's Downtown and starts at 5:30. The live auction will begin at 7:15, but be sure to get there early for free food and drinks (as long as the drinks last!). This is a great event to have fun with your law school colleagues as well as network with people from the legal community.

Students and professors will have the opportunity to preview and bid on items early this year. Be sure to stop by the Mosaic Lobby on March 17, 18, and 19 to see and bid on exciting auction items like dinner at Professor Marcosson's, including a 'bourbon menu.' But be sure to come to the Auction to make sure you have the highest bid!

Student Bar Foundation Meeting

Are you interested in public service, non-profit, or government work?

Do you think you might do unpaid work this summer?

Or maybe you just really like fundraising.

Whatever you're into, join the Student Bar Foundation tomorrow, Nov. 1 at 1pm in room 175. We will talk about what SBF members actually do and how to do it.

If you are interested in SBF and can't make it to the meeting, email Kasey Fehler, kaseyfehler@gmail.com.

Student Bar Foundation Meeting

All students and SBF members are invited to join SBF Friday, Nov. 1 at 1:00pm in room 175 for an organizational meeting.

If you don't know, SBF is the student-run charity of the law school. We raise money throughout the year to fund fellowships for students who work in public interest jobs over the summer. All our hard work directly benefits YOU! Better yet, if you get involved now, your efforts could be rewarded by more fellowship money in the summer. Basically, help us help you.

At this meeting you'll learn how to ask people for donations, who to ask for donations, and other ways to be involved that don't involve asking people for money. Treats will be served!

If you cannot attend this meeting, but would like more information, contact the SBF Chair, Kasey Fehler at kaseyfehler@gmail.com
