Courtroom Construction beginning in basement
Posted October 17th, 2012 by Timothy S. Hall
Construction is beginning on our new, state-of-the-art trial courtroom on the lower level of the law school. While we are excexcited about the training opportunities of this new courtroom, there may be some inconvenience or noise incidental to construction for the next few weeks. The contractor is aware of our class schedule and will be doing the noise-intensive work during the night hours (tonight, they're cutting trenches in the concrete for electrical and Ethernet wiring). This note is just to make everyone aware of the presence of contractor staff in our building for the next few weeks, and of the potential for some construction activities during the day. If you are in the building studying after class hours, you may want to relocate your studying away from the potentially noisy construction. If you encounter any problems with this project, please contact Associate Dean Tim Hall.
