Ms. Grubbs is a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of the Brandeis School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in legal studies and a minor in business administration from the University of Evansville.

As a law student, Ms. Grubbs participated in the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) before starting her first year at the Law School. She was the recipient of the Clark Boardman Callaghan Best Brief Award, competed in the National Moot Court Competition, served as an Articles Editor of the law review and was published in the Brandeis Law Journal.

Ms. Grubbs joined the Law School in 2013, after having served as a labor and employment associate in the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP. In her practice, Ms. Grubbs represented clients in state and federal courts and administrative agencies and provided advice and counsel on personnel policies and procedures, investigations and compliance with laws and regulations governing employees. Ms. Grubbs is a skilled problem-solver with a strong background in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration and informal negotiation.

In her spare time, Ms. Grubbs enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her English Springer Spaniels.  (She has rescued several.)  She loves engaging conversations and exploring new ideas for creative writing projects.  Ms. Grubbs is committed to lifelong learning and investing her time doing the tings that make her truly happy.
