Dean Hajek is a native of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and earned a B.A. from Northwestern University, a M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati, and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.  She has over 13 years of experience serving as a career services assistant dean and worked at the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio, and The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, before coming to the Brandeis School of Law in 2012.  Prior to beginning her career in academia, Dean Hajek was a manager with the consulting group at Ernst & Young LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio, and an associate with a large insurance defense firm in Sarasota, Florida.  She is licensed in both Florida and Ohio and is currently a member of the Louisville Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County.  Dean Hajek has been an active member of NALP over the years having served on committees and presented at NALP conferences.  She currently serves on the NALP Audit Committee.
