"Three years ago when I sat in room 275 at 1L orientation I remember hearing Dean Chen say that after three years at UofL Law his goal for our entering class was for us to graduate and pass the bar. I was confident that in May, 2011, I would graduate and in July will have all the necessary knowledge to pass the Kentucky Bar. There is no doubt that my time at UofL Law has consisted of long study hours and high-pressure exams, but I’ve also learned some valuable lessons and cultivated some incredible friendships.

The Brandeis School of Law’s commitment to service will undoubtedly shape my legal career and life. Lawyers are meant to be more than advocates in courtrooms. They are meant to be leaders in their communities and UofL Law adequately prepares students for that role. The faculty and staff understand our professions higher calling and embrace it. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve received here and I am looking forward to the day when I can call myself an alumnus of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. "
