Brandeis' role as an estate attorney is illustrated by his correspondence at the beginning of reel 157 with the trustees of the Samuel Watts estate (accession #22158.) The reel also includes handwritten legal diary slips for 1914 - 1915 (broken dating); handwritten and typescript drafts of several Brandeis manuscripts on price fixing, including remarks before the Association of National Advertising Managers, New York, May 14, 1913; and sample announcements, lists of recipients, and incoming correspondence generated by Brandeis's retirement in 1916 from the law firm of Brandeis, Dunbar & Nutter to become Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
