There are also letters supporting Brandeis's nomination, addressed to Senator William E. Chilton and other members of the Senate Judiciary subcommittee which held the nomination hearings; press releases favorable to the nomination for publication in the nation's magazines and newspapers, and correspondence with Brandeis's legal partner, Edward F.
