Supreme Court nomination material
continues on reel 45, with lists of persons who favored confirmation, as well as
mailing lists of lawyers and newspapers. Reports, a schedule of witnesses to
appear before the Senate Judiciary subcommittee, copies of testimony, and
newspaper clippings from the period, January 31,1916 to June 1,1916, are also
filmed here. The reel ends with memos between Edward F. McClennen in
Washington and the law firm of Brandeis, Dunbar, and Nutter regarding issues
